Note: The Grid Advanced Extension will need to be installed on PTC Thingworx prior to the installation of the Connector. The target machine must have the PI AF Client tools installed which will ensure that the AF-SDK is available to the connector. The target machine must have Visual Studio 2012 Redistributables installed (will be part of installation prerequisites check).The target default PI historian for the AF server must be configured to accept connections from the service account running the connector. The target machine must have Visual Studio 2012 Redistributables installed prior to installing the connector. For details, see below. |
Prerequisite redistributables
To ensure the connector functions as expected, you will need to install the Visual C++ Redistributable Packages for Visual Studio 2012.
