On successful first start up the connector will create the HierarchyFiles and a logs folder with corresponding files in the installation directory. If the logs folder is not created, it would indicate that the connection to Thingworx has failed.
If the folders and files do not appear, ensure the account running the connector has login rights on the AF Server and PI Server.
For other issues, please look at enabling verbose debugging for the logs.
Please note, that failed connections are not logged. There may also be instances where an error occurs prior to the logging service being made available and thus a log is not made for this error. It is recommended that you try restarting the service to see if additional logs are created.
